This is the area where people will have considered discussions on both sides, or in some cases three sides, of an issue that Deists can learn from. Because I want it so that these discussions are not arguments going nowhere, I decided that we need some rules.

Rule 1. There will be an opening statement by each person taking one side of the issue.

Rule 2. The opening statements must be limited to under 750 words. They can of course be shorter, but no longer.

Rule 3. Both sides will be able to write a rebutal for the opening statement of the other person.

Rule 4. The rebutal statements are limited to 500 words. Shorter of course is allowed.

Rule 5. Both sides must stay within the subject area being discussed.

Rule 6. Both sides must write about the issue, not the person or persons taking the other side. In other words, no flaming, no put-downs, no calling each other names, or questioning the intelligence of those on the other side.
Rule 7. The administer of this forum has the right to change the rules as necessary.

Rule 8. The administer also has the privledge of not posting an essay that for whatever reason, he feels that it is not appropriate.


  There is a sample of what I am looking for in the sub-section of this page. Hopefully, it will suggest an idea of a topic you would like to challenge someone else about. If you know of someone that takes the opposite side of an issue from where you stand, the two of you can work it out together and submit it, HERE. If you don't know of anyone in particular to work with on a particular subject you would like addressed, maybe I can help you get coordinated with someone else. I am willing to act as a go between if you would like me to. 

  The authors will be given credit if they so wish. But, someone may ask for anonymity if they like. Obviously, if you are e-mailing something to me, I will know your address. It can't be avoided, but I do promise that I will not abuse the privilege of knowing your address or who you are. I am not in the habit of back-stabbing people who are helping me.
