The purpose of this web-site is to give a place for Deists to develop their reasoning skills and to find sources to increase their knowledge about Deism. Also, I hope that other Deists will participate in building this site so as to be able to share our concepts and experiences. All of this will hopefully lead to Deists leading more reasoned, practical lives that will help them to be happier and more content.

For those non-Deists that may come across this site with the idea of learning more about Deism, I would suggest checking out the web-sites on the Deist Alliance web-ring. By checking those sites out, you can learn more about the concepts behind Deism more quickly than on this site. Although, you are certainly free to peruse here and offer comments if you like. This web-site is more dedicated to those that already know that their thinking is Deistic.

As most Deists come to understand very quickly, Deists have very different ideas about epistemology, methodology, and how God does Her work. It is my opinion that there are no experts or authorities for Deists to look to for guidance. At least not any individual. There are many fine classical books where the authors can be said to have been Deistic in their thought. And there are those Deists living today that have given a great deal of thought about Deism and what it should become. But, I maintain that there are no experts on Deistic thought, as each and every Deist must come to their own conclusions. Obviously, I would include myself as not being an authority or expert about Deism.

Hopefully having made that clear, although I do have a natural preference for my particular ways of thinking about Deism, I will be trying to show other ways of thinking about Deism. In this, I can use the help of other Deists. I really hope that this site will represent all of the Deist community, and not just myself and a few others. In this I will need help. Comments, suggestions, and valid critiques are desired. If I can work them into the site I will. Just keep in mind that I am wanting practical ways that Deists can continue to develop their reasoning and practical skills.

There is no particular order that this site needs to be read. As different Deists will be looking for ideas about different things, it just doesn't seem practical to turn this site into a book to be read page by page. It is more of a reference book, where the reader can find the information on a certain subject and then be able to use it.

I do hope that all of the visitors coming to this site, learn something and maybe have something to ponder after their visit. My hope is that this site will continue to expand and as I learn more skills in programming, will evolve into not only a source of reference, but be fun to visit too. To that endeavor, I can use your help. I am hoping that some Deists will view this as much as their web-site as it is the administrator's. And won't be shy about suggesting improvements or critiquing the content.
I may be reached by sending an e-mail HERE.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this site.
